Food for Hartford
Food for Hartford is a multimedia project I worked on as part of a UConn course called Publication Practice in Spring 2017. The project aimed at bringing light to the food desert in Hartford, Connecticut.
My contribution to this project included coming up with ideas for visuals that would illustrate each story in the most unique and personal way. It was my responsibility to make the contacts and execute the photographs. The ideas for visuals sometimes came from brainstorming with the writers or by my own independent research. I also had the opportunity to set up and record live video interviews, using multiple cameras and lights, and assisted in video editing.
